Our egg design
It's better to have a backup plan than none...
We had two ideas:
Our first idea was to put protection around the egg. We drowned the egg in a bag of chickpeas and surrounded it with balls of newspaper. We also built 8 supports around the box because we didn't want the box breaking.

Our other experiment consisted of burying the egg in a bag of flour and surrounding it with water; this way the impact would distribute within the water.
